The Perfect Popcorn to Elevate Your Snacking Game

In September, we took a mini vacation without the kids to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. While searching for a fun souvenir for them, we discovered this popcorn "on the cob" from Poppin' Cobs. It was ideal since our daughters are obsessed with popcorn and request it at any time, from breakfast to dessert!

On Thanksgiving morning, our daughters requested a treat while watching the Macy's Day Parade, and a fun new popcorn fit their request. I placed a single cob into the bag provided by Poppin' Cobs, folded it twice, put it in the microwave, and set the timer for 1 minute and 45 seconds, which is the time we use for other popcorn brands and it always yields great results.

Despite being folded twice, the bag opened during cooking. The girls found it incredibly funny and enjoyed watching the popcorn "pop" everywhere as the turntable spun. Fortunately, cleaning up was simple because there was no butter or seasoning on the corn.

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of popcorn produced by a single cob. A few kernels remained unpopped, but that was acceptable. Popping it any longer would have burned the already popped kernels.

My daughters are crazy about "movie theater popcorn," which means popcorn covered in butter and salt. We decided to melt some butter, coat the popcorn with it, and sprinkle it with salt. The outcome was some of the best popcorn we've ever tasted! I will certainly be ordering from Poppin' Cobbs to include this popcorn in our regular snack lineup.
